ARTchix Studio Fabric Book RR
After seeing some of the pages from the 'One Page at a Time' fabric exchange I hosted in 2004, Helga Strauss, the owner of ARTchix Studio told me that she would love to be involved in something like this! Could we possibly do one ARTchix style? Yes! Helga and I gathered together 12 talented artists for a year long fabric page exchange, hosted by me, that ran from September of 2004 to September of 2005. Pages were made & fabric books were sent monthly.
The only REQUIREMENTS were: use at least one ARTchix item per page (the size was set at 7" x 7") and work on both sides. Stuffing your page with batting or not was up to you. Participants could choose a theme for their books, or not! Helga likes to call our pages "quilties" as they are like tiny quilts. A huge thanks to: Helga Strauss, Theresa Hall, Marie Otero, Chrissy Howes, Ann Peterson, Terrie Lightfoot, Belinda Schneider, Genie Bizjak, Chris Peden, Robyn Schultz and Marla Rosenlieb for working in this exchange with me, a wonderful experience!
